The Jesus Network's Challenge is the opportunity to have an evangelism training experience in the heart of the largest, most diverse and urbanized city in Canada. You'll be trained to share your faith clearly, confidently and cross-culturally with practical tools. Each day's schedule is balanced with classroom learning on Islam in the morning and a neighbourhood visitation in the afternoon. You'll learn by doing. Lessons and visits will be led by local teachers who are well-known by the different faith communities of Toronto. Our goal is to reach people by learning about their worldviews, listening, serving, and sharing the Good News of salvation in Jesus and how he has changed our lives.
We Challenge team members to make evangelism your lifestyle. We Challenge Canadian believers to move out of their comfort zones and become a missionary for a week, without needing a passport or possibly even a ticket. Are you up for the Challenge?

Program fees cover training and ministry materials, snacks and lunches, and speaker fees.
We can give suggestions for nearby accommodations, but it will be up to you to book them.
Please note no tax receipt will be issued for registration fees, as event fees are not considered a charitable gift. See CRA's website for an explanation on what qualifies as a gift (section "Did the donor receive an advantage?").

Meeting location may change (to a nearby alternative) depending on possible changes to restrictions and will be confirmed prior to the Challenge event.
Scheduled Challenge:
Fill in the online form. (If there is no link above to a registration form, then there are currently no scheduled Challenge events.) After you submit the application, it will be reviewed by Jesus Network staff and you should hear back in a few days. We may have questions or contact your reference. The acceptance email will include a link to the payment page.
Unscheduled Challenge (at your request):
If there are no Challenges scheduled above, you can request an event for your group by contacting us at prayer@jesusnetwork.ca. Please include your group (church or organization) name, your desired dates, and approximate group size. We will try to arrange an event for you, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to hold one.
You will be asked to make your payment by credit card through a CanadaHelps events page or, if requested, we can arrange an alternate method. Please do not pay if you have not been accepted yet.
Also note that you will not receive a tax receipt as it is an event registration and not a donation. See CRA's website for an explanation on what qualifies as a gift (section "Did the donor receive an advantage?").
Lunches and snacks will be provided. Meals will feature ethnic cuisine representative of some of the ethnicities that the various religions in the region represent. Please indicate dietary restrictions on your application and we will make efforts to accommodate, but cannot make guarantees. Bring your own reusable water bottle.
Dinner and overnight accommodations can be arranged on a group-by-group basis for an additional cost, or by your own booking. Please contact us to discuss specific arrangements.
The days will vary, but they will generally follow this outline:

- Workshop/evangelism preparation
- Lunch
- Neighbourhood evangelism
- Debrief
There will be a considerable amount of mobility. Please consider your ability to move about (walking, wheelchair, etc.) for upwards of two hours at a time.
