We were very thankful for the mission teams that visited over the past few weeks and helped get some things done at the refugee house. While they were taking pictures they also managed to discover the Refugee House Owl living in the tree next to the house! Now we need to name him, so let us know any good Owl names!
The teams managed to clear space in the backyard for a new path, and while its not completely level, lots of earth was moved for better drainage. Since we have an end unit, the water tends to pool near our place so the walkway and sloping of the ground really helped…. although we have hardly had any rain this summer to tough to test it out!
Things are coming along but still many projects and opportunities to help out:
- Give towards mortgage: we have a 25 year mortgage at $500,000 ($3000/month)
